Random Character Generation for Cepheus Deluxe
This supplement presents an alternative random character-generation system for Cepheus Deluxe. Players roll to determine their characters’ careers, skills, backgrounds, and life events, creating unexpected histories and abilities as they progress. Random generation can produce characters who are injured, imprisoned, forced to leave a career, or shaped by other events before play begins. These results provide challenges and story hooks for roleplaying, while retaining the risk of character death during generation and the old-school feel of the underlying science-fiction system.
