Red Shield & Gold Eagle

A roleplaying supplement for adventures during the Napoleonic Wars, designed for use with early editions of Dungeons & Dragons and similar fantasy roleplaying systems. It provides rules and campaign guidance for adapting existing characters, classes, equipment, encounters, and adventures to a historical setting. The game presents a Hollywood-historical world without spells or magic items, where soldiers, agents, charlatans, and adventurers undertake daring missions within the era’s armies and conflicts. Fantastic elements are replaced by exaggerated feats, unusual technologies, and mesmerism, with optional fantasy material included in an appendix.
