Rider: A Cepheus Engine Western
A tabletop roleplaying game set in the fictionalized American Old West, using the Cepheus Engine with rules adapted for the setting. Players create frontier characters through a partly random character-generation system that provides greater control over their backstories, choosing from 23 careers including homesteaders, doctors, gunslingers, soldiers, outlaws, and vagabonds. The rules cover weapons, horses, gambling, drugs, alcohol, and life in Western towns. They also include quick NPC generation and scenario rules for train heists, bank robberies, and high-noon showdowns.
