Riders on the Midnight Storm
In a realm beset by pillage, blight, and shadow, characters are temporarily knighted by a concerned noble to investigate a series of sinister misfortunes. They gather information, confront horrific fiends, rally despondent nobles, infiltrate strange cults, and navigate political stalemates with sword or tongue. This campaign setting uses a sandbox-style adventure for characters of 1st to 3rd level, with the threat of rising chaos and destruction growing as rival earls remain divided.
