Runebound: The Cataclysm
A card expansion for Runebound Second Edition that introduces the Curse of the Cataclysm adventure variant. After a star falls and shatters the land, the remaining free towns suffer from beasts, spells, and other curses. Players continue adventuring while facing obstacles within the cursed towns and undertaking special quests. Heroes who overcome these dangers and return successfully can become the towns’ saviors, allowing the settlements to rebuild. The variant replaces elements of the base game’s Rise of the Dragon Lords adventure.
