Heroes travel across Varisia to stop a magical plague from spreading through its greatest cities. They confront cultists who transform people into monsters while opposing the agents of rival runelords. Their actions determine whether one runelord is resurrected, another is reborn, or the heroes succumb to the Polymorph Plague themselves.
