RuneQuest Starter Set
A fantasy tabletop roleplaying starter set that introduces players to the mythic world of Glorantha and its conflict-riven setting. One person runs the game as gamemaster while others play adventurers defined by skills, passions, equipment, spells and Rune-based magic; advancement comes from successfully using abilities in play. The box includes a concise rules booklet, a setting primer with the city of Jonstown, a solo tutorial adventure, three ready-to-run adventures and seeds, fourteen pre-generated characters plus blank character sheets, player handouts, regional and local maps, and a set of polyhedral dice. Play emphasizes hazardous, unpredictable combat and heroic struggles against Chaos and imperial forces.
