Players take the role of Lone Wolf, the last Kai Lord of Sommerlund and sole survivor of a war with the Darklords of Helgedad. Sent to Vassagonia to sign a peace treaty with the Zakhan, he leaves Holmgard in winter expecting a brief mission. The journey into the desert empire instead leads to danger, intrigue, and a hidden threat. Players guide his actions and choices through the unfolding adventure.
