Shadows in the Stacks
A Dungeons & Dragons adventure in which characters travel to Candlekeep to identify locations described in their discoveries in Waterdeep. They must contend with rivals seeking the same information and others determined to prevent further investigation. Designed as a four-hour adventure for 5th- through 10th-level characters, optimized for an average party level of 8. Themes include fictional contagious illness, quarantine, madness, and references to suicidal thoughts.
