Shared Fantasy
An academic sociological study of roleplaying-game culture, examining what draws people to roleplaying and how participants interact within gaming groups. The study considers player types such as power gamers, munchkins, and rules lawyers, along with the role of the game master. Based on the author’s participation in several roleplaying groups, it explores the community from within.
