Simian Stars
On a distant planet, apes become the dominant species while humans remain in small, primitive groups, kept in zoos or living in the wild. Three major simian species develop advanced societies and science, then expand into space. When human astronauts crash on a simian-colonized planet, the encounter changes the course of both species.
