Sink the Carrier

A cooperative game set aboard the USS Yorktown during the Battle of the Coral Sea, where players pilot Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bombers in search of a Japanese aircraft carrier. Each turn, players move between sea zones, engage enemy aircraft, or search for the carrier. Actions use poker-hand dice rolls, with rerolls limited by fuel and time. Players must resolve daily event cards before the clock runs out, improve piloting skills by destroying enemy planes, and prepare a one-bomb dive attack. The Japanese forces win if enough planes are lost or the Yorktown is sunk.
