Skyhawk: Rolling Thunder, 1966

A solitaire air game that places the player in the cockpit of an A-4E Skyhawk flying strike missions from the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt during the early days of Operation Rolling Thunder. Players select ordnance, face small-arms fire, anti-aircraft guns, surface-to-air missiles, and occasional MiG encounters, while support forces can weaken enemy defenses before the target is attacked. The game supports single missions or three campaigns covering tours of duty at Yankee Station. Political events may alter targets or loadouts, and the objective is to survive each mission or complete a campaign.
