Sodbusters
Twenty turns represent five years of settling the North American prairie, as players develop farms, manage loans and compete for profitable land. Each season, players buy land, livestock and crops, respond to events such as tornadoes and oil strikes, then sell mature crops and animals at changing market prices. Land values and farming options vary, requiring players to balance risk, investment and loan repayment. After the final turn, the player with the most cash remaining after settling the loan wins.
