A setting book for the Solomani Rim War, covering the Solomani Rim and Alpha Crucis sectors. Hard-liners campaign to retake Terra, dissidents seek independence, and frontier worlds resist outside influence while trade, diplomacy, espionage, and covert violence shape regional politics. The book introduces new playable species, including Selenites, Aquamorph Humans, Apes, Gurungan, and Ladybugs, and details the Vegans and Vegan Autonomous District. It also presents new vehicles, starships, animals, diseases, environmental hazards, Vegan Travellers, and a Vegan High Guard expansion.
