This expansion gives each Daimyō new ways to develop their domain and strengthen their faction’s identity. Players choose from limited upgrade options that shape their strategy and increase asymmetry between clans. The map gains greater importance as players decide where to build, secure influence, and add Provinces to their domains. Positioning, timing, and access to future opportunities all become key parts of long-term planning.
