SpaceCorp: Centauri
SpaceCorp: Centauri is a new stand-alone game for 1 to 4 players on exploring and colonizing potential planetary systems in Alpha Centauri, Tau Ceti and Epsilon Eridani. Based on the original SpaceCorp game system, each player controls an Earth-based enterprise driving the expansion of humanity into the stars. Players compete in the short term to send teams on interstellar FTL missions of exploration and development, while also playing a long game to raise and launch slow-moving population ships to colonize the planets and moons made ready by their teams. How to Win: As in SpaceCorp, the player with the most profit wins. Profit is earned through Discovery tiles, Production actions, completing public and secret contracts, occupying colonies with your ships, and for raising monuments in your colonies. Solo Centauri: Like SpaceCorp, Centauri includes a full solitaire game with its own rule book, in which you compete against the combined strategies of the competition to occupy more and better colonies. Link to SpaceCorp: Centauri is a stand-alone game, taking 2-3 hours to play. Alternatively, it can be played as the third era of the original SpaceCorp game, replacing the existing Starfarers era. When doing so, simple steps transfer player positions from the end of the Planeteers era to the set-up for Centauri. —description from the publisher
