Spears & Spells Fantasy Roleplaying Game
A streamlined tabletop roleplaying game for telling fantasy stories in settings ranging from heroic to gritty, with an old-school-inspired approach. Characters are classless and customized by choosing Talents during creation and level-ups. All character generation, task resolution, and combat use six-sided dice. To attempt a Task, players roll dice based on the relevant stat and succeed when the total is under that stat. Failed rolls use fail-forward outcomes that complicate the situation rather than stopping the story, while simple rules keep play fast even when characters face serious danger.
