SPQR: Player's Guide is a board game for 2 players.
A supplemental magazine-style booklet focused on tactical and strategic guidance for the historical wargame system. It collects articles on army analyses, tactics, and game replays to support play and scenario design. The issue adds three new historical scenarios set in 208 B.C., 214 B.C., and 168 B.C., and supplies a sheet of eight commander counters (Pyrrhias; Hanno B.; Gracchus; Cotys; Cycliadas; S. Galba; Mago S.; Perseus) for use with the included scenarios.
