An expansion for the Star Fleet Battles: Commander's Rulebook containing 45 Ship System Display (SSD) sheets. It adds variants, war cruisers, minesweepers, survey and escort vessels, transports, carriers, repair ships, freighters, and other new units for the Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Kzinti, ISC, Gorn, Tholian, Orion, Hydran, Andromedan, Lyran, Wyn, and other forces. The book also includes displays for an Auxiliary Space Control Ship, Planetary Defense System, defense satellites, and ground bases, along with additional rules for using the new units.
