It's possible that I've played too many games in the Steam family of games to enjoy the lack of control in this quick dice driven route building/pickup and delivery game. Essentially you roll dice = players +1, then draft one, and spend it to either take a matching ability tile, draw a new rail in the matching numbered area or deliver a cube from the matching numbered city, scoring a number of points equal to the number of links the cube crosses. The cubes are in a common supply so you are in competition for them, and there are additional 3-5 VP tiles that get awarded to the player who can first make the required deliveries. The special ability tiles mitigate the luck of the dice somewhat, but one of the things I enjoy the most from other games with this theme and style of cube delivery is trying to find ways to leverage your opponent's network, and that's totally absent here. With the personal player boards it's also very difficult to track what cubes other players have access to, which helps lead to some additional frustration when your opponent swipes the cube you need and then completes the contract you were one cube away from getting. Maybe this would grow on me with more plays, but where I am now, I feel that this is more frustrating than fun, although trying to make a Steam style roll and write is certainly a cute idea. :star: Art, Iconography and components functional :nostar: Clever or interesting mechanisms :star: Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players :nostar: Multiple plays stay interesting :nostar: Low or mitigatable luck elements :star::star::nostar::nostar::nostar: Raw enjoyment
