A RuneQuest campaign framework and introductory scenario set in the remote Sandheart District of Sun County, Prax. Players take the roles of militia adventurers investigating crimes and maintaining order in a rural community shaped by local customs, spirit cults, and a repressive social structure. The book details Sandheart, its administrative centre, important residents, and everyday life, with rules for creating diverse militia parties, including non-native recruits. It also includes ten pre-generated militiamen and -women and a scenario in which the militia confronts a violent criminal gang.
