Template: Biological Intruder (2E)
This character template represents a malignant microorganism that infects and takes control of a living host. Mutated viruses, alien spores, and self-replicating nanites are among the possible forms. Unlike a symbiote, the intruder uses the host only to mature or reproduce, gradually replacing its biological processes. As the infection progresses, it damages the host’s physical and mental faculties before ultimately destroying the host’s mind and vital functions.
