Temple of Putrescence
An adventure location centered on a decaying temple dedicated to Kossuth, one of nine death gods. Rumors and scattered clues can foreshadow the site before the party arrives, while its corpses, dangerous inhabitants, and hostile environment establish its deadly nature. Players explore the temple, uncover the history of Kossuth’s influence in the region, and face threats that may punish even success. The adventure culminates in the Sword of Kossuth, a powerful artifact whose abilities and severe, potentially lethal drawbacks can adapt to its wielder.
