A Southern Gothic campaign frame for Mortal Coil, set in the small town of Elaqua, Alabama, during the Great Depression. The community suffers through crop failures, disease, fires, floods, and unexplained deaths, while missing children, murders, and local legends suggest a deeper supernatural presence. Players portray characters confronting ghosts and other strange forces amid the town’s hardships, using the setting to develop an ongoing campaign of mystery, horror, and dark folklore.
