The Animal Companion
This tabletop roleplaying supplement provides rules for giving animal companions distinct personalities and identities. Drawing on research into the differences between domestic animals and their wild counterparts, it treats pets and other animal allies as entities with their own traits rather than extensions of player characters, extra attacks, or conditional bonuses.
