A Candela Obscura assignment begins when a Lightkeeper discovers an encrypted letter after a contact disappears. The Circle follows leads through Briar Green, Haven Hills, and the post-war town of Ashdale, searching for the missing person and uncovering a hidden EONS laboratory. The investigation leads to a deadly ritual that must be stopped. The assignment includes ten named NPCs, six creatures in the laboratory’s menagerie, and handouts featuring train tickets, an encrypted Ancient Halen letter, and an engraved pocketwatch containing the cipher.
