The Blessed And The Beast

A short location-based adventure for the Shadowdark system. The party explores the warped ruins of an ancient battlefield where the forces of Chaos destroyed Faith’s Keep and shattered a powerful weapon. As they travel toward the ruined castle at its center, chaotic energies shift them between the present, the fortress’s fall, and the later attempt of a holy hero to defeat the Beast of Chaos. Encounters include echoes of the past, undead raised by the battlefield, and creatures that flicker in and out of reality.
