The Buried Zikurat (1E)
An adventure for 3 to 7 characters of levels 6–8, set in a fantasy world of ancient trade routes and buried kingdoms. Clay miners uncover a step pyramid near Caford, and the characters are sent from the capital to investigate its sealed entrance. Inside, they must overcome millennia-old magical locks, security sentinels, tricks, and traps while uncovering the structure’s connection to the subterranean Land of Night. The adventure can be played as a standalone scenario or as part of a larger series and is designed for use with old-school fantasy roleplaying games and modern clones.
