The Charlatan
This 9-page supplement introduces a playable class for Mazes & Perils: a con artist with a small amount of magical ability. The class relies on deception, roleplaying, disguises, and persuasive schemes to impersonate magic-users, clerics, and other magical characters, dealing with guards, nobles, and other challenges without direct combat. New abilities help the character create distractions, talk their way out of trouble, and escape dangerous situations. The class can be used for player characters or non-player characters.
