The City of Great Lunden
A grim city setting for old-school fantasy roleplaying games, Great Lunden is a sprawling capital of crowded wards, corrupt guards, criminal gangs, royal intrigue, and lurking horrors. By day, the streets are filled with theft, violence, and drunken disorder; at night, green gloom covers the rooftops, sewers, and surrounding fields. The setting details Queen Elspeth IV’s paranoid court, the dangerous city wards, rooftop Nightways, sewer networks, and threats beyond the city walls. It includes game statistics for Swords & Wizardry Complete, system-neutral material, pregenerated characters, and maps of the city, wards, sewers, rooftops, and surrounding areas.
