The Coal and Matchflame: A Binary Star System
A setting and reference booklet for voyages through a realistic two-star mini-cluster, designed for use with spacefaring characters. It describes a compact system around an L5 brown dwarf and a larger system around a G5 star, both reachable with current-day Earth-level technology. The booklet covers stellar arrangements, travel between systems, day and night cycles, moon phases under double suns, sky and rainbow effects, measurement units, planets, galactic conditions, and setting prompts. It also includes system statistics, equations, a glossary, and guidance for customizing the worlds and wider galactic environment.
