The Curse of the Dreadstone
At the market square, the dwarf merchant Brumeer hires the adventurers to find his friend Arcbold, a farmer who failed to meet him. Investigating the disappearance leads to an unsafe and potentially unpleasant discovery. This introductory fantasy adventure is designed for 2–6 players and can be run as a one-shot, a side quest in an ongoing campaign, or part of a West Marches game. It is compatible with Old-School Essentials, B/X, and other OSR rules systems, with adaptations for 5e.
