The Deep and the Dark
This setting guide covers two sectors on the frontier between human and Aslan space, shaped by ancient wars, shifting alliances, abandoned worlds, and isolated societies. Reaver’s Deep lies beyond the Great Rift, where a Buffer Zone separates the Third Imperium, Solomani Confederation, and Aslan Hierate. Independent worlds, alien species, dangerous wildlife, raiders, and local warlords create opportunities and hazards for trade pioneers. The Dark Nebula includes the mysterious Celella Nebula and Kusyu, the Aslan homeworld and spiritual center of the Hierate. The guide explores Aslan culture and the Hierate’s changing political landscape, and includes a two-sided poster map of both sectors.
