The End of All Hope & Return of the Crown
This item presents two linked adventures in the Hollow World. After discovering that the settlement of Haldemar has been destroyed, the characters learn that Azcan survivors have been taken to the capital of Chitaloc as sacrifices. They travel across land and Lake Chitaloc, then face capture or an audience with the king before being taken to a pyramid during the Festival of Atzanteotl. When Mount Kotlati erupts and darkness covers the sky, the characters gain an opportunity to escape. They must then make their way back to camp while pursued by Azcan forces. Together, these missions form part of a longer adventure path.
