The Expanse Roleplaying Game

This tabletop roleplaying game is set in a far-future solar system where Earth, Mars, and the Belt compete for political power and resources while ancient alien forces begin to stir. Players create characters using backgrounds, professions, drives, and resources, then take part in action, exploration, social encounters, intrigue, and space travel. The Adventure Game Engine rules use Fortune to represent luck and near-misses, while conditions track injuries, fatigue, and other setbacks. Characters can use interludes to recover, maintain equipment, build connections, or pursue personal projects. The game also includes spaceship creation and combat, along with a story-tension system that introduces new complications as events unfold.
