Genius Square

Players each get a personal 6×6 grid, nine polyomino-like shapes and seven blocker pieces. On a turn, seven dice are rolled and blockers are placed on the coordinates shown; those squares become unavailable for that round. Players race simultaneously to place their nine shapes to cover every remaining open space on their grid. The dice-generated blocker layouts vary each round, producing thousands of solvable configurations and requiring spatial reasoning and quick pattern recognition.
