The Glimmering Valley
A campaign setting and adventure collection set in the Ninth World, centered on a peaceful agrarian village surrounded by ancient structures, crystal monoliths, and a mysterious forest. Players establish relationships and character histories in the village before exploring the Glimmering Valley, following prepared plot threads or pursuing a sandbox-style adventure. The setting introduces new players and GMs to the world of Numenera through detailed locations, dynamic NPCs, creatures, cyphers, artifacts, and dangers. It provides a starting point for campaigns that can eventually expand beyond the valley into the wider Ninth World.
