Bovrik is a gifted gnome who rises from a chaotic childhood to train in the psychic arts, only to see his order collapse amid internal conflict and royalist persecution. He turns his powerful mind to plundering monster lairs, but his drinking habit repeatedly leaves him broke and seeking another dungeon.
