A reference guide to 1800s thieves’ cant, based on Captain Grose’s 1785 compilation and the 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue. It collects slang associated with criminals, university wit, and pickpockets for use in roleplaying campaigns, including AD&D and other historical or fantasy settings.
