The Haunter of the Dark
This investigative horror supplement adapts H. P. Lovecraft’s final Mythos story about the doomed writer Robert Blake into an adventure outline and a guide to creating scenarios for The Cthulhu Hack. It explains how to break fiction into playable content and includes nine pages of random tables for developing mysteries, locations, encounters, and other adventure elements. An annotated version of Lovecraft’s original story highlights potential game material and demonstrates the process.
