The Hippareiones: Slug-Headed Centaurs
Players command the Hippareiones, slug-headed centaurs who once ruled the Plain of Golden Grasses before their temple was destroyed and their culture collapsed. Now nomads, cave-dwellers, merchants, mercenaries, and gladiators, they seek survival in the shadows of greater civilizations while competing with dwarves for mountains and underground territory. Their society is devoted to chaos and darkness, and its central aim is to increase the power of its strange gods through raids, alliances, and service in the wars of other peoples.
