After a daring sea voyage, a party reaches a small outpost at the mouth of a jungle river to resupply. The Company offers supplies in exchange for investigating an ivory trader who has stopped reporting. The journey upriver leads through dense jungle, madness, and the bleak truth surrounding the legendary trader Kurtz. Designed for third- or fourth-level fantasy characters, this adventure can be played as a four- to twelve-hour one-shot, a break from a seafaring campaign, or a group activity.
