The House up in the Hills
A hard-boiled private investigator explores 1930s Los Angeles while investigating a suspicious automobile fatality. The case leads through the city’s business elite, a series of rat attacks, and the disappearance of a child, revealing sorcerous activity and an ancient cosmic evil beneath the corruption. This one-GM, one-player investigative roleplaying scenario focuses on gathering clues, confronting suspects, and preserving the investigator’s life and sanity.
