The Lie
Players hold a hand of cards that display a number (1–4) and a color, but each card’s face is altered: its revealed number or color may differ from what is printed. On a turn, players play cards to build higher numbers of the same revealed color by choosing which altered cards to combine. The goal is to be the first to empty one’s hand; matches are scored and the player with the most points after several matches wins. Bluffing and deduction about the cards’ true values influence which combinations are safe to play.
