The Lion and the Lily: The Normandy Tribunal
In northern France’s Normandy Tribunal, magi of the Order of Hermes live amid a densely settled landscape shaped by nobles, cities, monasteries, and the Church. Rather than withdrawing into remote wilderness, they compete for limited magical resources through contests modeled on chivalric tournaments. The region also contains ancient megaliths, faerie-haunted forests, hidden relics, and monsters or demons stirring in old prisons. The setting details how magi balance their relationships with mundane powers and explore a land where magic remains potent but increasingly constrained.
