The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Hills of Emyn Muil
Adds a higher-difficulty encounter module that reshapes the original quest with darker challenges and altered setup. Includes twenty new encounter cards plus a Nightmare Mode card that specifies which original encounter cards to remove and a rules card outlining additional effects. Players integrate the new cards into the encounter deck and contend with tougher enemies, more hazardous locations, and scenario-specific twists that change pacing and tactics. Designed for cooperative play, it preserves the original scenario’s map and objectives while increasing threat and complication to create a more demanding play experience.
