The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Morgul Vale
Players race to rescue Faramir from the servants of the Dark Lord, navigating poisoned paths and shadowed terrain while a worsening threat ticks down the clock. The scenario uses a Nightmare deck that replaces and augments encounter cards, introducing deadlier Orcs, Mordor agents, and three empowered Captains who gain strength and resilience from the nightmare effects. Players cooperate to manage limited time, fight enemies, control locations, and make tactical choices that determine whether they free Faramir before the Nazgûl claim him.
