The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Battle of Carn Dûm

This expansion sends a band of heroes into the heart of Angmar to assault the fortress of Carn Dûm. Players encounter a combat-heavy scenario where they must engage waves of Orcs, Werewolves, and a powerful Captain while contending with location effects and lingering Sorcery that complicate encounters. The pack adds sixty new encounter and player cards, including a new Dúnedain hero and three copies each of nine player cards. New events and card effects expand Leadership, Tactics, Lore, and Spirit options—introducing additional Valour effects, Ranger/Dúnedain utility to mitigate deadly enemies, and a Spirit card that can be played from the discard pile—supporting combat-focused strategies against the cycle’s threats.
