The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Blood of Gondor
Players lead a band of heroes and Rangers of Ithilien on a hunt across the forest roads of Ithilien after a retreating enemy. The scenario tasks players with intercepting and stopping fleeing foes while managing ambushes, hidden enemies and the escalating threat of Black Númenóreans. Gameplay uses the card-driven living card game structure: players build decks around heroes, explore locations, commit characters to quests, and engage enemies in combat. This pack adds a new scenario, a new hero, and three copies of several player cards that emphasize the Gondor trait and support single-sphere deck strategies.
